Price Changes

  • Deposits are required on all cabin and sleeping shelter bookings, the deposit to be paid prior to your booking and by the due date shown on the OSM booking.

  • The deposit amount is 50% of your total invoice amount and is based on both the cost of the buildings and the cost of people staying in the buildings.

  • Deposits are not taken on camping pitches or activities.

  • If you need to rearrange your cabin or sleeping shelter booking, the deposit can be transferred to a new booking if we are informed and acknowledge the change no later than 6 weeks of your booking.

  • If you completely cancel your booking, or are looking to rearrange with less than 6 weeks to your booking then you will lose your deposit.

Payments

  • You must confirm your group numbers with the warden before leaving site to have an invoice sent.

  • If you do not confirm numbers before leaving site we will charge you for the number of people on your Emergency Contact Form.

  • We prefer payment via BACS or Card, however, we will accept Cash or Cheque whilst onsite.

  • Payments by cheque are payable to ‘John’s Lee Wood Campsite’.

  • BACS payment is to be made within 5 working days of your departure.

  • Failure to provide payment within 5 working days via BACS will result in an invoice being sent with additional admin charges included.

  • Any group that fails to settle their payment on time may be required to pay any future bookings in full ahead of their booking date.

Additional Fees

  • Early check-in to cabins, before 5pm, are subject to an early check-in fee. The fee will be added onto your booking if a Warden is available to check you in early or if the building keys can be left securely for you. Please note all our Wardens are volunteers so it is not always possible to do an early check-in.

  • If you are in a Cabin and it is not ready for inspection and check-out by 3pm on the day of departure then you may be subject to a late check-out fee.

  • If you are in a cabin and have failed to clean it before checking out then you may be subject to a cleaning fee. The Wardens will check the cabin with you when you check-out, you will be given the opportunity to correct anything that needs doing. If you fail to correct it then the fee will be added.

  • We reserve the right to change our prices up or down as required.

  • We would normally look to do this with as much notice as possible, any change to prices are signed off by the campsite trustees before being published.

  • The cost for your stay with us will be charged at the current rates. If the rate has changed since booking with us you will be charged at the new rates.
